Nana Asante Bediatuo’s mother, father, sister, brother in President’s family & friends

The entire members of the nuclear family of the Executive Secretary to the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Nana Asante Bediatuo have all found space at the eating table in Akufo-Addo’s government, a report MyNewsGh.com has sighted revealed.

Mr Asante Bediatuo who is widely known as a ‘self-made rich man’ in law practice is himself directly related to the President and has allegedly created space inside government for his father, mother, sister and brother to also ‘chop’ since his cousin became president. Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) says this is typical ‘family and friends’ governance.

The revelation came to light when the National Communication Officer of the NDC, Mr.Sammy Gyamfi addressed his party’s Moment of Truth series with documents to back his claims.

The opposition NDC has consistently accused the Akufo-Addo government of being the most nepotistic government in the history of Ghana, a charge government has denied.

For the Asante Bediatuo family: Kofi Darko Asante who is the father of Nana Asante Bediako is Chairman of GIMPA Council. Mrs Vida Asante, mother of Nana Asante Bediako is heading the President’s Household at the seat of government. Kwesi Kuutu Asante brother of Nana Asante Bediako is a member of the Ghana Hostel Board and Lauretta Otchere sister of Nana Asante Bediako is a Deputy Director General at SSNIT, all positions they acquired with the appointment of Nana Asante Bediatuo, NDC’s Sammy Gyamfi alleged.

MyNewsGh.com will be serializing the rest of the nuclear families fingered.

Church usher kills wife, stabs her 92 times

A man is in the grip of the police for allegedly stabbing his wife to death in the presence of his children at Dansoman Shiabu in Accra.
The suspect, Prince Korley Commodore, 48, was married to his wife, Dorcas Anafi Commodore, 37, for nine years.

Their children, both girls, aged five and eight, were said to have been in the bedroom at the time of the incident, with one of them screaming and saying “daddy you are killing mummy” a number of times.

The police saw a kitchen knife suspected to have been used to stab the victim.

Police Patrol

When contacted, the Dansoman Divisional Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Isaac Kwadwo Asante, confirmed the incident and said the Ghana Police Service national control room received information that a man had killed his wife in a house at Shiabu at about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2019.

The Dansoman Police Patrol team, upon hearing the information, followed the signal and located the house.

At the house, the suspect had locked himself up in his room and would not open it despite the police requesting him to do so.

The police then forced the door open and arrested him after the body of a woman was seen in the room with blood stains all over it.

The Crime Scene Management team from the headquarters of the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service was immediately called in to assess the situation.

The body has since been deposited at the Ghana Police Hospital Morgue.

Concern

When the Daily Graphic visited the compound house where the couple lived at Dansoman Shiabu, some tenants said the couple was always happy and were the envy of many.

They said the suspect made pronouncements which did not make sense on the night before the incident.

His worried wife, according to the tenants, called a pastor of their church and informed him about her husband’s weird behaviour.

After speaking to Prince Commodore, the pastor told the couple he would visit them the next morning.

Family members of both the deceased and the suspect had besieged the police station in either mourning cloths or ordinary clothes.

A relation of the deceased said he was worried about the children of the couple who had been handed over to the pastor while investigations continued.

“I cannot imagine the emotional effect of what has happened on the children. Just imagine a child as young as eight years witnessing her biological father killing her mother. It is a pity, isn’t it?” said the relation.

No Ghanaian pastor has been called by God – Rev. Obofour claims

Controversial pastor, Rev. Obofour has caused a massive stir with his claim that no Ghanaian pastor was called by God.

According to him, people become pastors by their own volition.

He was preaching to his congregation in a new video seen by YEN.com.gh.

Obofour dared any pastor who claims to have been called by God to challenge his claim with evidence. He further threatened he would expose any pastor that dares him.

He added that no pastor has the right to call the other fake because they are all fake and not called by God.

The pastor used illustrations, saying that in Ghana, it is the Chief Justice that swears in a new president, and also the electoral commission that announces the president.

However, not God himself, or an angel from heaven, had been sent down to declare any pastor as God’s own.

“Shut up there! Who gave you the right to call another pastor fake? We are all one because God has not called any of us. Any pastor who claims God called him should show me the number God called him on and the certificate,” Obofour barked.

He added that judgment day awaits all pastors, and this is going to be dangerous since no one knows when and where it is going to start from, whether the “Jubilee House of Flagstaff House.”
